I’m so excited to introduce a this special partnership with a member of our group, my friend Jen, who is coming on board to serve as our GVT Nutrition Coach! I know many of you have questions about nutrition and how it affects your specific health and fitness goals - Jen has answers! "Hello Good Vibe Tribe! I am so excited to be part of this feel good crew! Mikhaila and I met a few years ago when our little ones were at Burley preschool. I can’t believe how time flies! Since then, I have been building up my nutrition coaching business crumb by crumb. As soon as my youngest started full time preschool I was anxious to get back to work! I quickly found a job as a clinical dietitian at a West Suburban hospital. I loved teaching patients how to manage certain health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and kidney disease to name a few. The job was challenging and fast paced (totally my jive), but the overall mission did not align with my passion. What I really enjoy is helping and empowering people. That was difficult to do in the hospital setting because we didn’t have time to build relationships with our patients. With my coaching business, I have the time to work one on one with clients to help them achieve their goals. We talk a lot about WHY their goals are important and what it would mean to achieve them. Although my focus is primarily weight management, I use a non-diet approach. So, I am super pumped to be a part of this supportive and energetic group. I can’t wait to interact with all of you health minded and fun people!!"
